Terms of use

https://thealonemusk.is-a.dev is the personal website of Ashutosh Jha, an individual based in Noida, India. Using it means accepting what follows. It is a portfolio, not a product, so this is short.

What this site is

A record of my work, my experience and how to reach me. Everything on it is provided for information. Nothing here is professional, legal, financial or engineering advice, nothing on it forms an offer of employment or a contract, and a conversation started through this site does not create a client relationship or any obligation on either side until something is signed.

The content

The writing, project descriptions, photographs and resume on this site are mine, and are not licensed for republication. Quoting a passage with a link back is welcome and needs no permission; lifting pages wholesale, passing the work off as your own, or presenting it as your portfolio is not.

Source code for the projects listed here lives in its own repositories and is governed by whatever licence each repository states — not by this page. The visual design of this site is adapted, with thanks, from jackiezhang.co.za; the layout and styling are not mine to license onward.

The contact form

The form composes an email in your own mail app; nothing is submitted to this site. It is there for genuine messages — work, collaboration, questions about a project, or a note about something broken. Bulk or automated mail, marketing and recruitment blasts, and anything unlawful, abusive or deliberately misleading are not welcome, and I may ignore or block the sender.

Send only what you are comfortable putting in an email. Do not send confidential information, credentials, or anything covered by someone else’s NDA.

Accuracy and availability

I keep this site current, but project status, roles and dates can lag behind reality. The site is provided as it is, with no warranty of any kind — no promise that it is accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or free of errors. It may go down, move, or change without notice.

Links to other places

Links out to GitHub, LinkedIn, Medium, cal.com, Google Drive and elsewhere are for convenience. I do not control those sites and I am not responsible for their content, their availability, or what they do with your data once you get there.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or anything you relied on from it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Privacy

How data is handled is set out separately in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Changes

These terms can change. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gautam Buddh Nagar, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
